Positional Release
is the moving of the body into such a position that the neuro-muscular
system releases and resets the particular junction that is being
treated. It is mostly used for the musculature of the spinal
column, but can be used for most skeletal neuro-muscular junctions.
An example is when one has what is commonly termed as 'popped
a disc'. This condition is mostly the spasm of one of the many
muscles in the spinal column. When these muscles are in spasm,
it is very painful to move. Positional Release can be used to
release the spasm, thereby freeing up movement.
